The Three JDs
The "Three JDs" was an image I created in the late 1990s to help describe myself to people who didn't know me that well. At the time I was a product manager with a web development background who helped his wife with art projects on the weekends. My interests span marketing, technology, and design.
At the time the message I wanted to convey to people was, "Please don't pigeonhole me. I like to do lots of different things." So I had my wife Leslie take pictures of me in different roles, and I used Photoshop to stitch three of them together. Yes, that is really me and me and me.
The image became a favorite of my friends and family, and I've been told by more than one person that I will be in trouble if I ever remove it from this website. So here it is!
